From 7:00am until 9:00am we invite you to join us at the main house for papaya boats as well as other seasonal fruits. Our papaya boats begin with a local picked papaya, a squeeze of lemon, filled with a scoop of plain yogurt, then topped with local bananas, crushed pineapple and nuts (please inform of us any allergies and we will do our best to accommodate you). Half and half is provided in the community fridge, other beverages include tea, hot cocoa, and water.
As an “eco-friendly” accommodation, ecology and sustainability is very important to us at Volcano Inn, not to mention we are dependent on the rain-forest for our water. We supplement with solar energy as much as possible and we ask that you please be mindful during your stay in the jungle. You will notice signs asking you to conserve water (this also includes linens/beds if you are in a room with more beds than occupants, as this creates unnecessary laundry) in addition we feature power saving mechanisms in several of our rooms, thank you in advance for contributing to our efforts to conserve resources.
