See Active Lava Flow Up Close with Fabienne!

Active lava flow is currently accessible by foot. Our friend Fabienne offers a guided hiking tour, and she safely gets you as close to hot lava as possible. Her afternoon tour starts between 3-4pm and usually finishes around 10-11pm. The active flow can be anywhere from 4-10 miles roundtrip hike. This can change daily depending on the volcanic conditions. Once the tour group arrives to the active lava flow, the group spends 1-2 hours experiencing the beauty of creation. Her departure times, hiking distances, and tour location are subject to change due to fluctuations in volcanic activity. For any updates on hiking with Fabienne, check out her website for more details and to book a tour with her. You can also text her (808) 209-9894 or email Hike2Lava@gmail.com
